Know Me For My Ability
The opportunity to access education, embrace expanded possibilities, and reach their full potential for independence should be available to everyone, everywhere.
The Issue
Only
4%
of children with disabilities receive education and vocational training, leaving them dependent for life
That's
96%
of people left out of the opportunity to be independent
However,
the majority of people with special needs are have the potential to be independent and contribute to their own wellbeing, to their families and to society
Our Approach
The Shiranee Joseph de Seram Foundation (SJDSF) aims to create a world where every person with special needs can access education, embrace expanded possibilities, and reach their full potential for independence. We are empowering employers with training and assistance to create inclusive workplaces and providing training individuals with Intellectual Disabilities (ID) through structured employment opportunities.
